Co-workers: telling me that I look "much prettier every day in the lab than in the picture on my web site" is not a good idea.
Really, I would rather not know your opinion.
(Though, now that I do know your opinion, I have to say, are you CRAZY? I look much better in the picture than I do every day in the lab.)

OK, you don’t want to hear this, but although that is indeed a nice photo of you on your web page, you do indeed come across more beautifully in person. But then again, don’t we all?
