Citenapping, Citenapped!

ScienceWoman complains in this post about an annoying tendency of scientific reviewers:

Asking that their work be cited (even though it may be redundant or not all that innovative) seemed to be par for the course from all of my reviewers.
Yup. This happens all the time. I decided there should be a word for it. Introducing… to citenap: to require the author of a scientific manuscript to cite your own paper before it can be published, by including this demand in the manuscript review. Usage: "I got my review back from Science. My paper was citenapped!"
