The sun is shining. I realize that polarizing sunglasses make the world look awesome. Each leaf on each tree stands out distinctly. So does each wood chip in the flower bed.

I guess you don’t use any correctional glasses, otherwise you would know what the #1 optics invention is.

Dear Dr. Yah from Boston:
I must acknowledge my oversight. Correctional lenses certainly must qualify as the #1 optics invention, with close competition from microscopes and lasers. Not polarizing sunglasses. But they can make a walk in the park euphoric, not to mention a trip to the Yellowstone glaciers.
